TRAILDUSTERS VOLUNTEER HOURS AWARD

 

1.        Must be a member of Traildusters and BCHW for a minimum of 6 months prior to the beginning of the calendar year for riding and work hours.

 

2.        Hours are accumulated from January 1 through December 31st each year

 

3.       Hours are to be recorded on a Volunteer Hour Report Form and submitted to the Volunteer Hours Coordinator for that year by midnight January 15th of each year to be eligible. Phone in hours will not be allowed.

 

4.       You must attend at least one authorized Trailduster work party of the ride/work calendar year to qualify for the volunteer award, except for the Administrative hours award.  Sanctioned work party hours will count double.

 

5.       Only work done for Traildusters will count toward the award. Personnel who represent Traildusters in meetings must be elected or appointed, officially representing Traildusters.

 

6.       All hours that are turned in will be awarded at the March meeting and published in the March newsletter.

 

7.       Winners will not be eligible for the award for 2 consecutive years. If you won the award in 2002, you would not be eligible for the award again until 2004.

 

8.       Prizes will be awarded for 3 categories, Top Administrative hours, top hours for trail work, and top hours combined for both trail work and administrative. Prizes will consist of $100.00 check. The prizes must be cashed within one year of receipt.

 

9.       Any questions about hours will be ruled upon by the volunteer hours chairperson and his/her decision will be final. Traildusters Board of Directors may be consulted for any necessary clarifications.

 

10.   Unlike BCHW Volunteer Hour Rules, any time spent working in office positions, such as president, secretary, LNT person, including chapter meetings, does count towards the Traildusters Volunteer Hours Award.
